Pw-series intelligent control systems

Ideal for building modular, customisable and scalable security solutions, Honeywell’s PW-Series of controller and reader modules offer Ethernet-ready, cost-effective performance for a wide variety of applications. The access control modules are controlled by and connected to the intelligent controllers through a supervised RS485 bus at 38,400 bps. The latter stores hardware interface configuration options that may be directly controlled via operator intervention, time schedules or event-based procedures.

Modular design with support for a wide range of reader technologies
Easy to configure and use, the PW-Series of intelligent controllers and reader modules offer many of the features of higher-end controllers albeit at affordable cost. In the event that communication to the intelligent control module is lost, the readers can be individually configured to allow entrance that is based on specific security needs. This level of enhanced customisation allows for a door to be configured as locked or unlocked, or accessed only via a valid facility code.

These full-featured Intelligent Controllers from a world leader in security systems offer a high-performance, Ethernet-ready system capable of easily controlling a single opening. It’s easy to position the controller above, near or at the door in an appropriate enclosure. Each device supports multiple time zones with triggers and can extend to multiple reader modules on the same Ethernet subnet. The PW-6000 and PW-6101 models are ideal for applications requiring an easy-to-install, easy-to-use controller module in their security system.
